Sevenoaks Town already has the facilities that many shopping areas aspire to and has remained a quintessential English shopping town with a good selection of independent shops amongst national chain stores. In addition the town has good visitor attraction and venues including Knole (National Trust property), Sencio Leisure Centre, the Stag Community Arts Centre (theatre and cinema) and House in the Basement Youth Café.
But in these difficult economic times, with the trend to out-of-town shopping centres, and rise in internet shopping we must work together to promote our Town as the place to live, visit and do business.
The Sevenoaks Town Partnership was established to do just that and has established a number of initiatives over the years of operation with some exciting new projects under development.
Our Town is a prosperous, vibrant, clean and safe place to shop and visit. If we are to ensure the long term sustainability of our local economy we must use every possible means to promote ourselves and encourage residents and visitors to use and support our shops, restaurants, local attractions and businesses.
