Sevenoaks Vegan Market

Last weekend saw a new initiative take place in the town.  Vegan Markets UK brought 24 vegan traders to the town and such was the success that they will be coming back in the Autumn.

Mayor Canet visited the event where another first took place. Sevenoaks has a new Town Crier in the shape- and voice – of Chris Conlan, complete in all his regalia and in excellent vocal form.

The market was not restricted to just foods, though there was a great range and something to suit all tastes whether or not you were a vegan. Other stalls included jewellery, candles, healing stones and ceramics etc.

The event was brought to the town by Sevenoaks Town Team who are now working with Vegan Markets to bring an even wider range of products later in the year.
